001 Anja Sussmann

In our first podcast we talk to Anja Sussmann, the nutrition science manager at a leading health & wellbeing company.

Anja is an accredited and practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist who holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney & is currently doing an MBA.

Anja’s interest in nutrition is taking to new heights as she embarks on her personal journey of being a mum!

Anja’s amazing pâté recipe

1 packet of tempeh
1/2 cup of *mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped spring onions
1/4 cup chopped dill (I like to use a little more)
1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
2-4 Tbsp tamari soy sauce

1. Cut the tempeh into 1cm slices and steam for about 10 minutes or until it has a nutty aroma and turns a lighter colour. Let it cool after that.
2. In a *mixer blend it with all the other ingredients.
3. Voila! Enjoy your pâté.

*My notes: I use a vegan mayonnaise and as I don’t have a mixer I blend all ingredients in a blender except the greens and gently mix the greens in after (otherwise the pâté turns out green!)
